Excel and Graduate
The path to graduation is not the same for every student, so we give our students more flexibility, support, and options with learning.
We offer a variety of courses and learning solutions to help meet your unique needs and keep you on track for both graduation and future success.
Our curriculum is aligned to Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and is delivered on campus or through our online Learning Management System (Canvas).
What We Offer

"The Meridian Way"
We offer an approach that integrates our Canvas digital learning environment with TEKS-aligned McGraw-Hill content. We also embed scaffolding, learner supports, social-emotional learning, and peer asynchronous and synchronous collaborative learning. This allows students to complete research-based, higher-order thinking and critical reflections assignments.

Exceptional Online Learning
Meridian Academy has implemented its beliefs by creating a culture where our 9th through 12th-grade students have the opportunity to feel a sense of social, cognitive, and place/teacher presence during their online learning and engagement.

Special Accommodations
Special Education, Advanced Placement, Career & Technical education and Electives are available. We also provide flexible schedules which reduce stress and anxiety. At Meridian, you will have an opportunity to meet a community of fellow classmates online and receive live, personalized help from our teachers.

College Credits
Meridian Academy provides dual credit courses that allow students to earn college credits while attending. We offer several dual credit courses through our partnership with Lone Star College where you can earn an Accredited Associate's Degree within two years.

Summer Programs
Our summer programs allow students an opportunity to complete credit recovery courses to regain credit for previously failed courses by completing coursework in the subject.

Adult Learners
No matter your age, Meridian Academy allows you the opportunity to transfer credits earned and continue on the path towards earning your high school diploma.
Your Learning Journey
Students will be enrolling in a personalized learning journey based on their educational assessment taken during the admissions phase. We start with our simple three-step enrollment process that is personalized to each individual:
Students are initially evaluated by our admission committee based on their previous educational high school transcripts, records, reference letters, as well as their path to graduation and entrance assessment.
Our admissions team goes to work and creates a personalized learning plan based on each student's competencies and how far along they are toward their path to graduation.
