We begin by getting to know YOU – your goals, dreams, and unique learning style. Then, we design an education plan tailored just for YOU!
Cognia Accreditation signifies that a school meets or exceeds rigorous standards of educational quality and effectiveness.
We encourage students to embody Christ’s teachings through acts of kindness, service, and respect, preparing them to make a positive impact in this world.
Lev Vygotsky (1896 to 1934) is best known for his work on how children develop psychologically. In particular, he identified the Zone of Proximal Development as the point at which a child is ready to learn new material and will do so more easily as they associate with those who are using the new concepts. As such, a student’s learning can be scaffolded as they are involved in slightly more difficult activities with peers.
While in middle school, students can opt to take higher-level courses which will be counted towards high-school credits.
While in high school, students can earn college-credit courses from other accredited colleges or universities.
Within each course is The Hangout where students can chat with each other and share inspiring songs, poems, talent, motivational quotes, Bible verses, or other media that help them in their studying.
Except for any required synchronous sessions, you can complete the study and assignments for each week on your own schedule.
Upon admission, each student’s starting level is determined to identify what courses are needed to complete middle or high school.
We are pleased to integrate Joy-at-Work (JAW) values into our curriculum. JAW helps us to better understand who we are and where we are in our life’s journey. It is about finding purpose in our school and work life. We enjoy the end of one day but excited about the next because God is in each day through our school and work. JAW is about the main pillars of love, respect and support for self and community.
Living JAW can result in transformation for us and those we serve, leading to better homes, societies and world. The JAW journey empowers us and guides us in our decision-making. It is about understanding that happiness is human hence temporal while joy is of God hence permanent. We can make each other happy but we cannot make each other joyful. To love God – to have God – is to enjoy daily joy.
