Welcome to Worship Music
This class helps you understand the value of music and how you can use it for worship. You learn about different styles of music, composers, instruments, and ensembles. You also study the fundamentals of music, such as terminology, rhythm, tempo, form, and meter and can also learn to identify instruments, pieces, and periods by their sound. Enjoy music and biblical principles.

Your Learning Journey
Students will be enrolling in a personalized learning journey based on their educational assessment taken during the admissions phase. We start with our simple three-step enrollment process that is personalized to each individual:
Students are initially evaluated by our admission committee based on their previous educational school transcripts, records, and reference letters, as well as their path to graduation and entrance assessment.
Our admissions team goes to work and creates a personalized learning plan based on each student's competencies and how far along they are on their path to graduation.
“The Meridian Way” approach integrates our Canvas digital learning environment with TEKS-aligned McGraw-Hill content. We also embed scaffolding, learner supports, social-emotional learning, and peer asynchronous and synchronous collaborative learning. Students complete research-based higher-order thinking and critical reflections assignments. Through our partnerships with many colleges we can offer dual credit courses to qualified high school students as a step towards their future in Career , College or Military pathways. We also integrate strong values and faith in ensuring that our students enjoy a holistic education experience.
